I had the luck of seeing a special critic's showing, way back in October. It had extended scenes, evidently (haven't seen the theatrical release yet)

What did you think?

"Creature From The Blue lagoon", LOL! The version I saw had LOTS of nudity, mostly Polly Hawkins, that girl with the disproportionately oversized head, and the bad guy's blonde wife. Lots of nudity!

I was questioned after the movie, and I said the marketing seemed very wrong. The trailers they showed before the viewing
made it look like a typical romantic drama. Just to be a jerk, I also said it was stupid to have a Hellboy prequal where Abe Sapien didnt talk. :) Hee hee

Anyway, it was weird. Weird in a excellent way. Just creepy sets, a creepy cinematography (every scene in a dark, kinda green light), and just, well creepy. Some great characters, and the bad guy was top notch. (a VERY dark take on the early 60's Government family man, who is usually portrayed as an All American)

Should be Best Picture. Light years better than typical Hollywood formula drivel.
