The book is very good so I look forward to seeing the series. I didn’t like the second book as much.

I read the books and enjoyed them. Even so, I found the first episode a bit hard to follow. It was still good but my recollection of the events and characters was tested. Can't imagine that it was any easier for most viewers who likely never heard of the book.

The second episode was entertaining but all the jumping back and forth in time is confusing. And no one will eat ever squid again without thinking about this episode.
