Hi all,

here I want to share a few pics of my "Thin Red Line".
The rather large assembly of figures was only possible due to the generosity of my friend Harry, who sent them to me in small lots over the last 1 1/2 years, and all I had to pay was the shipping costs.

Once I have an additional display cabinet, this will pretty much be the way they are going to be displayed, along with a few charging Russian Hussars.

Beside the regular released figures, you will find a number of conversions in this group, i.e. the mounted Officer, the mounted Sir Colin Campbell, Flagbearer, Color Sergeant, Pipers.
There are 5 more figures to come into this group, that I still have to touch up a bit and then give them the gloss finish.
Yes, I glossed them all, but most of you guys know that already :D
It's just the way I like them.

Here some pics now.

Happy Collecting!

Konrad

Konrad

They look great.

A quick question - is the adding of gloss a straight forward application or is there a trick? I have some Light Horsemen from Larsen toys just begging to be gloss and I would like to give it a go.

Looking a fairly "Thick Red Line" and the gloss suits the figures really well. Nice one.

Striking display assisted by being on mass, but the colours too. Very nice. Robin.

Hi Konrad,

Your thin red line is remarkably nice! You have a great deal of which to be proud. Those figures will look wonderful in you curio!

Warmest personal regards,

Pat :)
