The Tiger has landed (1 Viewer)

I was surprised how heavy it was. It is the heaviest one I have. Lots of small parts.

BEAUTIFUL!!!!

I just got the alert today from our host that mine is ready to be paid for. I look forward to receiving it next week! {sm3}

It is very fragile. So be careful when you take it out of the box.

Hi Brad,

A few minutes ago, I complimented the model for its finely molded parts. That's just the way that I like things. Speaking frankly, however, let's acknowledge that models like this aren't going to be as robust as some that were manufactured with an eye toward routine and frequent handling. I'm sure that there's an ideal between the extremes in this regard. I'm just not sure where it might be!;)

I had great luck with Figarti tanks. I have both T-34s and the dozer and stacks Shermans (I believe the latter two were heavier than the T-34 models). I also have a First Legion Sherman, the Hurricane. The latter had one piece of storage loose, but that just sits back on with no trouble. I didn't even bother to glue it back.

There was always that fear on the fragility of pieces that are photo etched, that us why Figarti never went over 100 pieces hardly, I have the sherman that shot. Wittman, the British priest, the meditarenean 88, the Quad m3/ m4, the bulldozer, the Morser, no breakage in any of them. The only breakage was the M3 Lee once, and the paint peeling off the second time. Did not try for a third. Its with the M3 that I decided to seal my Figarti pieces with dull coat. Never had a problem ever again.

My Tiger is on the way to me and will receive around next Friday. Hopefully somebody will post the comparison between FL Tiger and HB Gold Tiger because i don't have HB Gold Tiger.

I had very good luck with Figarti tanks. The only problem I ever had was with the Monty tank because they put it in the box before the paint was dry.

I have two FL tanks -- T 34 and the Patton (Marine version) -- and no issues whatsoever.

Congrats Brad, a outstanding looking Tiger!!!!!!!!!!! Unfortunately for me I had to pass as life sometimes throws a curve ball and you have to react, but I'm sure all the fellows who were lucky enough to get one will be very happy as you are.

Thanks Sammy. Hopefully you will be able to pick up one of the other versions. Really looking forward to the winter version and tank crew

Had some time to open mine today and no damage to report :salute::. I love it.

Really looking forward to seeing the crew, anyone have any idea when we can expect to see them released ?
