My wife and I just finished to watch this Spanish TV series and wow it is pretty good. Great acting in beautiful settings and locations, and great score. The story mixes the Spanish civil war and relationship Franco's Spain had with Nazi Germany through a seamstress interesting life journey. According to the Spanish people I know this is their Downton Abbey and I would agree with them...

I've just watched four episodes so far. Quite entertaining. I thought Gran Hotel was more like Downton Abbey.
Good story, but romanticized the North Africa locale a bit. Then so did Casablanca. Maybe it was better under
the Protectorate.

It's on Netflix. I hope you didn't have to signup for DramaFever. Not a worthwhile streaming channel.

Yes, we watched it on Netflix. Thanks for the tip on Gran Hotel! Looks interesting indeed.

You are welcome. Although Gran Hotel is a bit of a soap opera. Humorous at times.

I finished The Time in Between series. Kind of disappointed they ended it in the middle of the war. Did a good ending however.
Surprising several character were real. Well done. A bit female oriented. Got to have some love right.
