and their Chevrolet 30 cwt Truck will get them to their destination easily, safely, and with the utmost economy...
Thanks Louis, that's pretty cool. Pieces like yours hold a "special place" in one's collection. I just recently watched a special on the LRDG and the pink color scheme used for some of their vehicles. Interesting to learn more about them and the role jeeps played in the N. African campaign.Nice photo! I love the LRDG! Do you know that years ago, Andy gave master painted prototypes of these vehicles because I helped him track down the Tamiya Model of the 30 CWT Chevy truck he wanted to help him design his?
Thanks for the kind words, Robin. I missed the 1st LRDG Chevy by K&C so when this one came out, I felt fortunate to have another opportunity. Indeed a great piece.Pondered many times over purchasing this vehicle and several others in the series, but never quite pulled the trigger. Will have to be content in viewing your wonderful scenes Rob. Robin.
Thanks Mark; always looking for the right sort of backdrop.I love the backdrops in your photos. It really brings it all together!
