Pondered many times over purchasing this vehicle and several others in the series, but never quite pulled the trigger. Will have to be content in viewing your wonderful scenes Rob. Robin.

Rob,

Nice photo! :salute:: I love the LRDG! Do you know that years ago, Andy gave master painted prototypes of these vehicles because I helped him track down the Tamiya Model of the 30 CWT Chevy truck he wanted to help him design his?

Thanks Louis, that's pretty cool. Pieces like yours hold a "special place" in one's collection. I just recently watched a special on the LRDG and the pink color scheme used for some of their vehicles. Interesting to learn more about them and the role jeeps played in the N. African campaign.

Thanks for the kind words, Robin. I missed the 1st LRDG Chevy by K&C so when this one came out, I felt fortunate to have another opportunity. Indeed a great piece.

Rob,

I think you would enjoy reading the true story of Popski's Private Army as I did several years ago.

To give you a flavour even if it's a wikipedia one !
