If your hobbies include 25mm (1:72nd or 1:76th scale) plastic toy soldiers, then this is the best site on the internet.

Plastic Soldier Review

It's totally comprehensive. I only wish there was a 54mm (1:32nd or 1:35th scale) version of this one.

Your thoughts?

Yeah I read the site all the time, he's ruthless, but I guess that's his job.

Thanks for highlighting this website. I love it. The pics of figures are great and his comments are very thorough. Where does he get the time?

This thread disappeared into The Twighlight Zone.

I had to search my old posts just to find it. :(

This is a great website for 1/72 fans. They do so much armour in this scale as well now and its really tempting me to have a go at a dio of some sort.

This 1/72 scale is like a thorn in my side i keep thinking how cool it would look to do Waterloo.
the seed is already planted its only a matter of time before i cave

Go for it fellows. 1/72 scale is still my favorite.

I think my favorite will allways be 54mm as thats all i played with as a kid.
Captain your 2nd Manassas is insperational so maybe something like that.
but Napoleonics (British Squares being attacked by French Cav.

There aren't many useful sites on 1/32 plastic out there. I love Italeri 1/32 figures and have a look at plasticsoldierreview to see when te 1/72 counterparts are out. There are a few (very cheap) polish shops that make pics of the sprues, in 1/32 as well. Take for example the latest templar knights.

US customers even get a 22% discount. Lucky you. It saves me about 50% with dutch stores.

BTW I hope Italeri will release the dromedary with the 1/32 arabs.

And I actually bought the Airfix 1/72 waterloo set. To build my first 1/72 diorama using some other Italeri sets as well on a 60x60cm display (that came with the set). Used to have many Airfix when I was a kid.

Modelversium is a great site to visit, just so. There are a lot of talented modelers who show their work there.

Prosit!
