Here are some 19th C beach scenes that I have posted previously. I now present them as a group in what in the world of art galleries is a called a "Retrospective" Exhibition. Enjoy:)

1. Bachelor's Choice
2. By the Beautiful Sea
3. Free As the Wind
4. Summer in the Hamptons
5. The Art Critics

On a similar theme , this is a recent set I painted for a local collector, its using Phoenix castings.

The Punch and Judy tent is supposed to be paper, coloured in by the person assembling the set,
but I scanned those instructions,
used PaintShop to colour fill and then print on photographic paper so as to retain a gloss finish.

Yes Galveston was in my mind. Winslow Homer is my inspiration for the era and as you know his brother lived in Galveston from 1874 to the 1900 Hurricane
