Saw this old movie starring Charlton Heston as a Norman knight fighting off a bunch of Friesian Vikings. Very similar to Kirk Douglas' "The Vikings" in the setting and fight scenes. I remembered it as more memorable....

It imressed Richard Conte enough for him to make a great plastic range on it! I wish I could've got all the extras.
 
That was a fashion risk for Charleton Heston. So was the loincloth.

I like Conte's character figures of Bors plus the left handed Draco. Heston's Chrysagon looks good. Too bad there wasn't a Maurine Evan's figure as the priest. The Rosemary Forsyth figure is usually poorly formed in the face in the plastic sets. The figure of James Farentino as Marc is a poor pose.

Good sad music in the film.
