I have a wonderful time too, as everybody else I have the chance to meet nice people and enjoy my first toy soldier experience. But also, as an architecture admirer, my wife and I could not miss the opportunity to visit downtown Chicago. So I decided to share a few photos took this weekend.

Cheers.

Great photos and it seems you and your wife picked just the right day to go downtown as far as the weather was concerned.

Nice meeting you Rod at the show. Nice pictures of the "Loop" area. The downtown is called the Loop because of the EL trains running around the area. The weather was great and glad you had a good time. John

Great photos, Rod.

It was a real privilege meeting you and your wife in Chicago.

I had a wonderful time (already start to missed Chicago) wonderful City, fantastic friendly people (special the treefrogers) and very interesting show. I am a broke but happy guy.

I am very glad to meet you guys.

Cheers to all.

Rodrigo.

Hi, Rodrigo,

Nice pictures and glad you made it out of the show and explored Chicago a bit. To me it's in the top four US cities, so a great place to see. I'm sure your wife didn't complain much about getting away from the show and exploring a bit as well.

Good also to see photos with you and your wife in them. You and your wife make quite the handsome couple. Nice to put a face to the voice! So much commnication is done over email and phone that one sometimes forgets that there is a person on the other end. I'm probalby not making much sense with this as I just got back from a Chinese wedding and all that weddings entail, but I hope you know what I mean.

We'll chat later this week. Glad you had a great time at the show.

Best,

Matt

Matt, I am allergic whit two things:

1- MAN
2- Ugly women……

In Brazil we say: I am ugly but like pretty women. Thanks for the compliment. Yes we went to down town every day, we just loved Chicago and the people, it is a lovely city, I hope be able to come back again and again, and for the next time I hope that YOU will be there too.

Have a wonderful week, talk to you later.

Great architectural photos. This is no surprise since your buildings in your dioramas are architectural wonders as well. Nice to put a face to a name and see you and your wife. Looks like you guys had a great time.

I'm in the witness protection system and never leave my secret location:D

Actually I've never been to OTSN--I have basically avoided flying since 9/11 and it's too far to drive.
