Yo Brad, your a PC whizz any idea how I could copy an Old Britains label, I am pretty rubbish on these office suits. Learnt how to tie the Old Sets in, how to make stapes, even repaired a box that was shot, now just need a couple of end labels for sets a bought odd boxes for with different label on. The label only measure's 15mm width by 77mm length, need to make three with my own Regiment & number. The photo is one I took off a Roan box.
Bernard.

Hi, Bernard, looks like you've got the image scanned and saved as a file, so you could use a graphics tool like MS Paint to edit the file (eg, resize it to fit the box end). If you're running on Windows, Paint should be bundled with the system, and should be under Start>Programs>Accessories.

Once you've edited the image to look the way you want it, you can copy into a Word doc for printing.

I've made labels this way for the undersides of the bases for some of my figures (after painting the info got too tedious!), and I just printed them out in Word on regular bond paper, cut them out, and used white glue to stick them on. I've also made box labels the same way.

There's probably a sleeker way, but that's what I've done with the tools I have on hand. I'm thinking that you could also try using label stock (like Avery brand), if the size of the labels matches the size for the end of the box. In Word, choose to make a label document, and paste your image into the label. Using label stock would have the advantage of being self-adhesive.

That's some stuff off the top of my head, I will think about this some more and post, if I can think of any/better ideas.

Prost!
