I kinda wished K&C would slow down there release of products, especially WW2, after this years OTSN. And they did. But me needing a soldier fix, I thought I would branch out and get some of the 54mm companies out there.
Just got about 7 sets today from a couple of the prominent names in WW2 metal. Again I,m reminded that there is K&C, then everyone else is somewhere way behind them.
It,s almost disappointing to open the boxes and the same quality as I always get from K&C is just not there.
That folks is an unsolicited testimonial for K&C, but you all know it anyway.

Gary,

You have to be patient. It's only a month and a bit to Afrika Korps. Start a K & C Anonymous temporarily!:)

Yeah, the countdown will soon begins with the post of the pics by Mr. Neilson.

I can't wait to buy the AK sets. That serie is the greatest made by K&C and in may, if I'm correct, there will be the release of the new 8th Army sets.

And later in the year, there will be the Eastern Front, the Celts, the Napoleonics, the future retired items that I don't already have, the new LAH available since this month...and the figures and vehicules are more impressive, if possible, than the precedents. A big year in perspective.

Pierre.

Hay Brad, I repeat for all you (us) addicts out there in toy soldier land ...
Twelve Step Program for King & Country Collectors (The TRUE road to recovery)

Step 1.
Admitted you are powerless over the missing King & Country military miniatures in your life and that your life has become unmanageable without them.
Step 2.
Believe that a Power greater than yourself (Andy) can restore you to sanity and provide the needed King & Country military miniatures to complete your collection.
Step 3.
Make a decision to turn your will and your life (and all your available cash) over to the care of Andy, as you understand him.
Step 4.
Make a searching and fearless inventory of your King & Country military miniatures and the missing pieces to make the collection complete and restore you to sanity.
Step 5.
Admit to Andy, to yourself, and to another human being the exact nature of your collection.
Step 6.
Be entirely ready to have Andy remove all the defects in your collection.
Step 7.
Humbly asked Andy to remove the shortcomings in your collection.
Step 8.
Made a list of all the King & Country military miniatures in your (and others) collections that you have harmed by careless handling, and become willing to make amends for your actions by repairing or replacing them.
Step 9.
Made direct amends to other King & Country military miniature collectors whose miniatures you have harmed wherever possible, except when to do so would injure them or their collection.
Step 10.
Continue to take inventory of your collection and when you make an error, promptly admit it so that the collection and the inventory can be made whole.
Step 11.
Seek through meditation to improve your conscious contact with Andy, as you understand him, seeking only for knowledge of his talents for your collection and the power to collect.
Step 12.
Have a spiritual awakening as the result of these steps; try to carry this message to other military miniature collectors, and practice these principles in all your affairs.

Yeah, I know it's a repeat of a previous post, but I thought it applied to the intent of this thread. :p Michael

Don't worry there is help out there for all of us.I feel there should be some sort of K&C counselling sessions.Where i could stand up and say"My name is Rob and i ....i....ccc...can't wait to get my hands on the the new AK sets!"

They might try and wean me off of my addiction by just showing me the AK Flyer, but it won't work, because then i will just have to take it home and show the wife.God i miss the days i just craved chocolate!

If collecting King & Country is wrong, I don't want to be right! Revel in your addiction! When my wife complains, or mocks the Symposium by calling it a Star Trek convention, I look her dead in the eye and say "If you prefer I could spend my money and free time on drinking, gambling and sex." She never has an answer to that. Happy collecting!

You guys kill me! I do wish I could find a bunch of Britains collectors with your passion.

Regards,
Paulo

Just don't tell her your got it from me. I'm not afraid of my wife, but if all the wives figure out I am currupting their husbands, they won't even find my body.

Hi,
My problem with K&C is that I like it more and more with each new set I get and I keep wanting more and more. I also like other figure manufacturers, but recently I've been finding it hard to remember their names... Only tanks from Corgi or other 1/50 scale or from Minichamps seem to still come to mind... Is there a medicine for this? Does it come from... Hong Kong?

Help,
Paulo
