These are different figures aren't they...

isn't the guy on the left holding his rifle lower...

they look different to me...are they?

It certainly looks so Mike. Have to admit I do like the pose variations...especially in this range.

Pete...

oh yea...just the slightest variation in a figure...

his feet positioned differently...his head turned a tad of a different angle...the gun held differently...

these subtle changes can make a "new" figure...

didn't John originally say there were 16 different poses for the Gordons....

To be honest Mike, I can't remember, but I'm positive there were more poses planned than shown in London in March.
Yeah I totally agree....just the slightest change in pose makes all the difference. For instance...Just look at all the pose variations in the BOM series so far.

yes I noticed this couple of weeks ago, but I concluded it was the same figure, just one of those camera shots that give a false impression, but still the nagging thought was the rifle still looked levelled. If it turns out to be, this subtle change would be a nice touch and I will be adding these in my line. Cheers, Robin.

Robin...well the good thing is...is that JJ usually delivers sets with two figures...

I see the kneeling/standing firing set...

I see the 2nd wounded set...

but the I see this loose guy kneeling...so he probably has another figure to go with him...I just don't see him yet...

I bet we will get some pics from the Chicago show next week of some new releases...

I think John likes to save some surprises for the shows he attends...

7 more sleeps and hopefully all will be revealed Michael. This series excites me as much as my Zulu series. Really glad I discovered this JJ line, I bought one set just to see and feel it in the flesh and became instantly satisfied and now chase every one in multiples. Cheers, Robin.

Mike,

A few more Mahdists would go down quite nicely.

Jeff

Well, the poses do look different...subtle differences, indeed...as many of those heads look identical, unless the guy with the moustache is a quintuplet with brothers in the same unit.
