If you had the chance to ask Andy Five questions in person what would they be.I will get this chance this July so here are my Five.Simmo.

1.Is there a chance of commonwealth campaigns in the pacific.

2.Russian armour in the future.

3.More polystone rockets or jets.

4.WW1 A7V tank this year,

5.Are K&C planning a new range that they think will be 50/50 gamble.

1.Would you ever return to the FJ's in Crete?.(love those figures!)
2.How long is the process from idea to delivery?.
3.Of all the ranges K&C make, which is the biggest seller(if WW2 which range?)
4.Would you consider making any of Hobarts funnies?
5.Would you consider making British and Commonwealth troops for the Far East?.

Great questions Rob as always.Simmo

Thanks Simmo.Andy normally attends the Christmas show in London each year and is always kind enough to answer the many questions i have for him.He then holds a Q&A session in the evening, where us Brits and visitors get a chance to get some intel from him on forthcoming stuff. It helps in the planning of next years purchases;)

I would have asked the question: Who do you consider your greatest rival:
Figarti
Honour Bound or
The Collector's Showcase

My question would be : can you adopt me so I can become an heir to the Nielson throne? :D

And then we can change the title of the thread to;

'Favours we'd like to ask Brad';)

Andy's answers to this thread shows 1) he is still watching this forum and 2) he is still willing to give us an answer. I like both of those.

I have also found Andy to be very good at answering questions in person, even though we all are seeking a piece of his time. I am always struck by the enthusiasm for toy soldiers that comes across.

That's one of the fun things about this forum - the chance to interact with a few of our suppliers. We may not always LIKE the answers we get, but we do get answers! By comparison, that RARELY happens in the world of plastic models.

Great post.Andy's enthusiasm comes across loud and clear and i find it encouraging as a collector to know that the producer is into the subject as much as you are.And Gary you make a good point about other producers.I once collected 1/6 scale figures from a well known producer and getting info or even a plain old answer was akin to getting blood from a stone.I think we are in a very fortunate position here on the forum in that we have Andy's ear,i think sometimes we forget how unusual this is.

Now if i can just persuade him about that Churchill Crocodile;):D

:D

Yes its not quite an unstoppable campaign yet!

Rob

Now all we need is a model Andy really wants to make which would beg for him to counterpoint it with jast a few pieces of Russian armour. I wonder what that model would be?
