I have been wrestling with certain WW2 Theaters as a collector- the biggest one being The Pacific- the other two being Eastern Front and North Africa and I think 21st Century and FOV has solved it for me. I have waited for the other premium companies to put something out for awhile and I think I gotta go with 21st Century for the Pacific and even possibly NA. I think FOV gets the nod on Eastern Front.

I am talking 1:18th scale here. I pulled out the old 1:18th scale WW2 figures this weekend and got to looking at them. Did some surfing around and gotta admit, for the price of two of the premium metal sets, I could pick up a couple cases of 21st Century figures. I did my dios this weekend on a 4'x 6' kitchen table and they worked out just fine. I think I am sold!!

I,m glad I,m not the only one on this board that likes 1-18th.
My problem is not buying a couple of figures every time I see them on the pegs at Target, WalMart.

That's not a problem Gary- i typically rationalize it buy buying some cleaning supplies or other household items while I am there. I am buying more and more at Target anymore since they seem to get these "Exclusives" and my wife loves the selection of other stuff there as well.

Plus, the popcorn stand is pretty good there too:D:D

NEW 21st Century sets to be Released in 2008

 1/18th Scale a Dynamite 88th Gun Complete with Detachable Towing Wheels, in 2-Colors DAK, and Wehrmacht! Also, in 1/32nd Scale U.S. N. Africa with( Repainted )Stuart Tank and Figure's! And doing a Spitfire for NORMANDY!

I was into the 1/18th plastic stuff before I ever discovered this 1/32 metal world. All my 1/18th stuff is German armor, no planes. I've got a 1/18th panther, tiger, pak-40, and four german halftracks, all by 21st Century. I also have German figures by 21st Century and Dragon Models.
