Does anyone have any additional information about this?

I was looking at the digital version of Toy Soldier & Model Figure and I see the FL ad with some Thirty Years War 1618 - 1648 sets. I know nothing about this conflict other than there were a lot of belligerents.
Those in the The Battle of Rocroi painting by Augusto Ferrer-Dalmau would make some great figures.

The Retreat from Russia Sledge is also included on the page so release must be getting close.

WOW,
That would be another interesting line for me, really a lot of possibilities for combatants. Is there any chance you could post the picture ? Was it the figures pre-viewed in Chicago who looking similar to French Musketeers of the period ? best Gebhard

Matt had announced in Chicago there would be a Thirty Years War range and he brought prototypes of the Duelists. Please see the First Legion Masters thread, but particularly Andreas' (Andanna) report on page 3 of that thread.

I cannot get a good photo of the iPad screen to post, just a blur. I was not aware of the Chicago pre-view, but I suppose it was.

TYW001 A/B/C is The Three Musketeers and TYW002/003 is "The Duelists". One of which is in the FL banner. I would not be interested in these set, but would be interested in The Battle of Rocroi figures or one of the other conflicts, such as this guy.

Some interesting possibilities for this series. Certainly a variety of combatants from all over Europe and some great personalities such as Tilly, Wallenstein and Gustavus Adolphus.
A good choice for the "Pike and Musket" era as the ECW is being covered well by K&C and others. While there were some larger battles and sieges there were also many skirmishes, ambushes and raids which would lend well to smaller dioramas.

I second the desire for personality figures. Elastolin makes a Tilly but no one makes a 54 or 60mm painted Wallenstein that is not a flat. By far, he is the most infamous character of the war. If this is news to anyone, then do yourself a favor and look him up. Tradition of Scandinavia is the only manufacturer of a Gustavus Adolphus aka the Lion of the North.

Don't Kronprinz have a Thirty Years War range based on that very painting?
