Yo Troopers, got to tell you this one, (old war story lol) we where in Germany on NATO war games we called them schemes. Anyway it was a night time scheme and it was full battle mode the tank drivers had to drive with their hatches closed, so we are going along in the pitch black and somehow got lost. Then we go up a small hill and the tank levels off, so the commander gives the order to halt, he shouts over to me the radio bod jump out and see if you can see anything, so I climb out and jump to the floor, and was on my hands and knees, then I nearly died of fright, I jumped up and screamed to the commander high reverse which they did. WHY we where only sitting across three lanes of the Autobann in a Centurion at 4am in the morning. It doesn't bear thinking about Troopers if someone had come down the Autobann in a Merc doing a 120mph into the side of a Centurion tank. Can only thank God it was clear of traffic at that time "PHEW".

Merc build quality or not, my money would have been on the Centurian .

It's better in a deuce and a half on night course. It's called defensive driving , in a figure eight. Loud screams from the boys indicate how close you are to the blokes in front! Mike
