I just received two of these I purchased from an eBay seller and I must say wow!
The detail on them is unbelievable. I picked up the dead one and lying reloading one. The fact that the designer has actually went out of the way to make sure that all the straps were accounted for - such as the ones for the gas mask bag on the dead figure. I have seen a few designers who skip straps and it looks like the object - a bag for example - is just sitting there, but TG has actually got the straps goinf around the back of the figure.

The lying reloading figure has the straps of his GM bag crossing over the shovel on the back of his pack. Was this done? Who knows for sure but it is a great idea and eould be much easier to take off!

Also the shovels cross straps are present which is a detail I've never noticed on any other manufacturer!

WELL DONE THOMM GUNN!

Please don't let this be your only release of rangers/beach figures. The detail in them is stunning and unmatched

Scott,
I have got to agree about the quality of TG soldiers.
I recently bought a load of KGL and Prussian Naps and they are superb. The level of detail is brilliant. I wasn't into the Foreign Legion and the Roman stuff which seems to be flavour of the month(s) so like you I just hope they keep producing and expanding the lines I like, and buy, because these figures are second to none IMO.

Don't even start me in the Naps bud!

Bought one of their KGL firing figures and honestly I couldn't fault it! So much action in a single pose!

Dipped my toe in the water with Prussians, loved them fitted right in with my other Naps and such great quality at a realistic price. Moved on to KGL, Paras, Celts, Zulu war, Aussies, Japs, Spartans and now quite into Romans as well. K&C have stolen the march on TG with their new USMC, which is my first venture into K&C that I intend to follow apart from a few LOJ, but with the quality Japanese TG produce they make a worthy opposition. Keep it up and keep them coming !

Rangers and FJ's.... Thomas Gunn did a fantastic job with German Paratroopers, but in particular with Normandy Camo FJ's.

I agree on the quality I have a few of the WW2 Rangers, both dry and wet look, plus the Paras are a favourite of mine, I concentrate on the winter sets and they go very well with my K & C Battle of the Bulge sets.
