Hi Fellas,

Revisited some of my older winter photos this afternoon and it got me thinking, what "non-winter" vehicles (if any) have you pictured in winter scenes?

Here's a few of my own:

Thanks Pat, appreciate that.
I'm on my third Sony Cybershot, but it is an older model. Mostly point and click. I experiment with different settings based on the scene and lighting sometimes adjusting in Photoshop after taking. I do not generally use flash. I also use a Samsung phone on occasion which I think takes pretty good photos.
I want a new camera, not quite sure which to buy but I am partial to Sony. Not into the expensive/professional ones though.

I think the real trick is a good angle and a nice backdrop unless you are heavy into photo editing.

I like scenes with non whitewashed vehicles in winter settings. There are many situations where whitewash wasn't available, there wasn't time, it wasn't tactically appropriate, the weather at the beginning of the battle was not snowy or alternating between snow and rain, etc., where vehicles wouldn't have had whitewash applied. The Battle of the Bulge is a good example.

I think it was Wolfgang Schneider who called pure white camo "idiotic" in most situations.

This is not to say I don't like whitewashed vehicles, quite the opposite. I'm simply providing a little context.

I prefer the one with the lazy German laying on the hood of the half track
guy:tongue:

Great timing on the winter K&C photos as it appears the cold has finally appeared in Texas.

Thanks Pat, appreciate that.
