I thought we should start a thread for the new French Calvary Figures which are simply outstanding.

And take this time to say to Andy :

WHAT A GREAT JOB - YOU ARE THE MAN!

:D :D

I bet you Wellingtonians are fearful now....................

That should start it up

THUNDERING HOOFS!

Sounds like something Batman might say to Robin!

Disciplined, dashing, brave as they are Ron,your cavalry are riding to their doom on those spikey squares. All comes down to rifle discipline and bayonet drill.Just look at Zulu!

Rob

Now that the French (really great looking pieces that will look good in my collection by-the-way) dramatically outnumber the British in numbers of cavalry, I am in the hopes that K&C will have future releases of some additional British mounted combatants for opposite the "Dead Cuirassier”. Althought the Cuirassiers will look good against the Grays.

I agree the French Cavalry are superb additions to the range, but I also agree that the British really do need some support for the Scots Greys. Perhaps some KGL Light Dragoons or British Hussars............something for the future.

Jeff

For what it is worth, I am a Napoleonic ethusiast and I collect figures from that period. But as great as the scupts are, I could never afford the K/C cost to build up a substantial army.....And so my collection must remain, more affordable Mulberry as well as ebay bargains for some of the old time glossy lines and recasts. Also, I am still more of a 1/32 scale guy. Michael

Are Mulberry still going?

Jeff

Yes, Gavin is a friend of mine. He is a one man show ,and at times, unable to keep up with some customers needs, including me :) He is mostly a creature of ebay right now and he will do custom stuff for me.....I am trying to get my own business going right now ( not toy related )and as soon as that happens, it is my plan to help him run his business through a website and increse his painting assistants in order to crank out more product and increase the profits....Michael

You should start a thread on the forum for him and put out a bunch of photos - give him some public relations....:D

Mullberry figures are nice because they make some napoleonic figures that other companies don,t even if the sculpting is a bit on the crude side I,ve had very bad luck buying these things on ebay from 3 sellers who turn out to be all the same seller. Fubar was also burned by the same seller. So watch out buying these things on ebay guys, you may never see what you paid for or like me might see your first couple of sets from the guy then have to spend the next 5 months emailing the guy to find out what happened to your sets, 4 of them all ordered at different times but all 4 sets lost??? I don,t want to bash or give names of sellers but this guy has burnt a few guys that I know of just ask Fubar he got burnt real good by this seller.

So if you buy these things on ebay get some tracking on your purchase or insurance or something and have a back up plan for when your order dosn,t show up because you don,t want to have to go through the 5 months of B.S. that I went through being told over and over that your oder was shipped is going to be shipped and every other excuse with these 3 ebay accounts that turn out to be all the same seller which I did not know at the time.

I think next month andy will have a good chunk of my next months pay!!! Thats what I think! :p
I have a bunch of curassiers from frontline, nienna, britains, del prado and now I will have the some K&C to lead the pack. It should make for a great diorama with them going against my scotts greys from K&C, frontline, and nienna all mixed together for a nice big cavalry clash! I can,t wait, they look nice.
Now how about a couple more cuirassiers cutting up a british gun crew and one cuirassier spiking the cannon with half the british gun crew dead or wounded or hiding under the gun for cover as the cuirassiers cut them up. That would be a cool set. Maybe 2 cannons and have one destroyed. Maybe a british artillary man fighting them off with the cannons ram rod, have the figures made so they would interact with each other like a vignette with lots of action. How about a broken up limber for the cannon with some dead horses and an artillary train driver with the set also, you know something new and different then what every other company has done already.
How does that sound for a new set idea???

Oh man that sounds great - what wonderful ideas !

We must get Andy to expand this part of the Napoleonic range! Especially the broken Cannons and lots and lots of dead British :D (only kidding Rob)

Sounds great Fishead - we must see photos !

Okat, So fubar as usual is blind in one eye and cant see out the other.Where are the Big Brothers? I cant see them but I want them!
Am I missing something?
I need some infuriated Cuirassiers. They must be on this forum someplace !
I'll keep looking but I am being hounded to take the family out for Supper! Will have to look later!
My imaginations going to run wild, seeing french cavalry cavorting about the highway as I'm driving!

FUB
