Hi everyone,

My son and I set up my Timpo Wild West collection over the Labor Day weekend and I thought you might like to have a look. Sorry it's a little shaky at first, but I was using my computer chair as a camera dolly and whenever I passed over the tiles, the cam shook a little. Youtube's correcting feature made the video blurry so I didn't use it, but the shaking is not too bad.

Click the little cog icon in the lower right corner to watch in 1080p HD

Hope you like it!

I love it...

even the music...

that you and your son can bond over it...

that's a bonus!!!

where in Texas are you?

Hi - good nostalgia

your layout reminds me as a kid in the seaside town of Blackpool, Lancashire, England in the mid to late 1970's. There was large Lewis's department store next to the Tower and they always had large toy displays in the front windows on the run up to Christmas and inside they had a large scenic hilly layout of the Timpo Wild West train and a tunnel and loads of cowboys, Indians, 7th Cavalry etc..figures en masse.

happy memories

Regards
Dave

Terrific Timpo - the best plastic toy soldiers ever!

Many happy memories for me too. And I still have them all.

Germany 1960's calling in. Definitely childhood memories. I forgot about the fort.

The Vikings were my favourites. I only got the Apaches and Mexicans later in life but with the other Western themed stuff, I think that was the best range - as shown so well below!

I've said it before but I wish they'd done a bit more with the Romans. Celts, Numibians....
