Hey KV

I really like that I made the back ground of this shot!:D

What Tartan is he wearing?

Very good work and lastly is he a hard or soft plastic because I am wondering about how well the paint will stick to the soft or semi soft guys?

Good job!

All the best

Dave

Hi Dave, The piper is semi soft . I quess the poor wee man is tired out! Don't know how well it will stick. I sealed the paint with clear gloss. It is like adding a skin over the paint. I hope it stays, because a lot of work went into that little guy. There are other guys to this set but they are hiding. The tartan is copied from the del prado Blackwatch dress piper. No claim on authenticity.

Watch out that the bomb loader does not drop that bomb on your boots!

You might care to try undercoating your plastic figures with a watered down coat of PVA glue. Make it thin enough and it wont clog detail however it will stick and you can paint it.

Black Watch pipers wear Stewart tartan
