I've never dealt with them, and only vaguely recall having heard the name. I went to their site, at
www.tinbay.com, and looked at their "About" page. They describe themselves as a joint venture between "leading design studios in Eastern Europe and a strong North American sales team." I would expect that there could be delays longer than the amount of time that they list on the site. Having had a brief look at the items on their website, some of them look familiar from eBay auctions I've seen. I suspect that they're buying castings from various makers, then farming them out to the painters, and then shipping them to buyers in the US and Western Europe. Probably started up, to try to get a share of the Russian-style connoisseur market.
Have you had responses to your emails, and if so, do they give you concrete info about when to expect your shipment, or are they vague about details?
Prost!
