I have three or four small sets of beautiful figures, in the box I'm interested in bringing to the show, from the US, if anyone is interested. I have a very nice Trophy Sherlock Holmes set, as well as one which I belive is Sarum (is that the correct name?) Also a few other small sets. These have hardly, if ever, been out of the box. If anyone is interested I'll throw, (okay, place gently) in my suitcase.
best,
Jay

Btw, I'm leaving this Friday as it's a long walk to get there.

Hi Jay,

I would be interested to learn more about the Sarum set you have. Can you share any details?

Warmest personal regards,

Pat :)

Thanks for that JB. I've always liked the Living room scene and didn't know it was still available :wink2:

Patrick (of Sarum Soldiers), called it a day a while ago - and sold on much of his old range. He must have missed the TS trade however, as he has come back with bits he didn't sell off - and is slowly increasing some of his new Toy Soldier range on that newish web-site. I note that he is keeping his prices on the lowish side - and will supply all as castings too - so well worth a look, from time to time. jb

Thanks. Geez, I should rethink selling, those are so neat. The Sarum set I have is the Hound of the Baserville set, still in the foam and the box. I suppose I had it out once, but don't recall.
The Trophy set I have is "The Game's Afoot." Again, in the foam and in the box.
If anyone is interested, please pm. You don't have to commit until you actual see them. However, as I mentioned, I'm leaving Friday, with a side trip from the States to Vienna. I probably will have access to email at some point, but won't guarantee it. Let me know where a good spot will be to meet. I know this is a new location, but we can work out something.

I have both Trophy sets and can't recommend them highly enough. It took me a few years to find and get The Game's Afoot. It's one of my favorite sets.

I also have both Trophy Holmes sets depicted, and I completely agree with Brad, they are terrific sets.:smile2:

Hi Louis,
Hi Brad,

would it be possible for you to show a picture of those two Trophy Sherlock Holmes sets please ?

Thanks a lot in advance

Marcus

Marcus,

I found some old photos of the Hansom Cab set. I will take some photos of The Game's A Foot Set. By the way, both sets are pictured in TS&MF article.

The Game's A Foot.

Hi Brad, that was very quick, many, many thanks ! Just noticed, that your Watson is quiet different from the Watson in the TS&MF picture of the Game s a foot set !
I have a nice Sherlock Holmes collection and wrote an article for next month `s Germans "Figurenmagazin" about this theme. If you are interested, I can send you my
SHERLOCK pictures as PM and if you are interested in selling or trading these two sets - please let me know, I find them really nice

Best regards
Marcus

Marcus,

I may have posed the wrong figure. Let me check later as I'm not home now.

Brad

Marcus, yes, I would like to see your photos. I assume the article is in German.

I don't plan on selling these sets but will contact you if I change my mind.

Brad
