I know they do a fair amount of FIW and WWI themed sets, and I also know that the Toy Soldier Shoppe in Milwaukee has a bunch in stock. Size wise they are fairly comparable to the Britains Redcoats figures.

I a few of the WW1 troops and found them to be well sculpted. Similar to the old Fusilier line

Fusilier and Tommy Atkins are made by the Turner Brothers, they are both the same company now. I have ordered many Fusilier figures and they are simply excellent, and my dad and I are contemplating getting some Tommy Atkins as well. I have a sample Tommy Atkins WW1 and it is well done, though I prefer the Fusilier style a little more. If you email them they will also paint the figures according to your specifications.

P.S. If you haven't found them already, there are actually two Tommy Atkin's websites with different figures on each - all can still be purchased I think:
The newer one: http://www.fusilier-miniatures.com/tatkins.asp

The Jacobite Rebellion seiries is great as well. The Highlanders are colorful and animated.:)

seldom buy anything else, the W.I. series IS brilliant-can be ordered matte(suspect they are often painted so and given a gloss coat),there is a new series Northwest Indians I'm anxious to see .eBay sources (for a quick fix-and I may be cutting my own throat here)tommyatkinstoysoldierstore & toysoldierstore .michtoy have some stock including a 10 figure Buffalo Dance set(Plains Indians series) that I'm very tempted to buy having bought the identical set from them previously.tinsoldiercollection expecting reenforcement stock soonish, toysoldiermarket ditto,Garrison toy soldier -quite a bit on hand, have yet to deal with MKL Models but their rep is sterling, and of course the princely(& aforementioned)Paul Herrmann of toysoldiershoppe-had (heh heh heh) a LOT of Jacobites (has some yet but I doubt very much you'd like them),as for WW1 lots in eBay stores & on hand at toysoldiershoppe (pics by Mr Dave may be found here eBay watch forum Little Legion Madness thread-thanks a million Mr. Dave)& michtoy.I'll likely regret spilling so many beans but it'll serve as an apology to John,Mark,&Paul Turner for my (formerly secret)guilty pleasure at the throng's enchantment with John Jenkins and Britain's figures.o.

also Vandilay's thread "tommy atkins"-General toy soldier discussion 10-20-'06 is of interest ,o.
