I was in London yestersay and I dropped into the Toy Soldier Centre in Birdcage Walk next door to the Guards Chapel and was delighted to see that the stock Tommy Gunn products - impresses by the Kubel. Well worth a visit if you are in the vicinity (just across from St James Park).

To stand and look at masses of Toy soldiers this place is hard to beat, it's always been a great shop to visit and I've been going for as long as I can remember. But price wise I'm afraid it's a no no . I just can't pay the prices here as they are just too high, but I'm guessing they are aimed at tourists dropping in from Buck Palace and not at people like me.
Very impressive though and glad to hear they are stocking TG.

I know that place very well, and I also went to another shop in Sheperds market ( can't remember the name) in the 70ties and the 80ties when I used to work for the Rank Organisation and spent half of my time in London .
guy:)

I`ve visited the store when I was in London last year and I enjoyed it a lot. It is certainly a must see if you are in the hobby and visiting London! Now Rob, you are right on spot when it comes to pricing, since I found it is way above other retailers, specially on-line ones. I ended up buying some items because I was fortunate to get some retired K&C that I just couldn`t resist...^&grin

Yes I agree with you there Sentaapua, you can indeed get some retired items there sometimes, but as you say so many other retailers are much cheaper. I guess the rental on the shop right by the Palace is very high and they have to get some money back!:wink2:
