Next on was George Washington from 18 year old forward with a lot of information about Monongahela with a reenactment.

I think I saw that. It was pretty good, but they overlooked quite a few major battles and virtually the entire naval war. But I guess there is only so much you can put into a two hour time slot. That considered, it was pretty good.

At least it's not a show on UFO's or Bigfoot which seem to get a lot of air time these days on the history channel.

Combat, I agree with you. The History Channel used to be my favorite.
Now I watch the Food Network more than the History Channel.

Did he predict I would stop watching if there are anymore shows about Loch Ness or how they make cheese? The only thing worse is "Ghost Hunters" or something like that on Sci Fi where a bunch of loonies stumble around in the dark for an hour screaming every few minutes into a night vision camera and saying over and over again "what was that?"

I,d have to agree with you 110% on that ghost buster garbage! And the worst part of it is my old lady actually watches that crap!

Lets not forget all the "possible how the earth will end" disaster future history garbage. or is that Discovery Channel or Discover History Channel or Dancing with the disaster stars. Seems the quality has been slipping. Couldn't agree more about those ghostbuster dufus guys all that "hear that", "I never heard that before" "what" . Only thing I hear are two dorks walking around in the dark talking.
