Does anyone know how KC calculates the "Top Sellers" section on their home page? Is it people that buy direct from them and their website or is it what the dealers are ordering too? I am always curious as to what sells the hottest but I'm unsure as to the population that this "Top Sellers" section captures. Thoughts? Ideas? Suggestions?

K&C UK / Treefrog / Other Dealers - What is the hot seller for you all at the moment. Also what, in your opinion, has been the hottest selling set/item historically? If you could bring one set out of retirement to sell again...what would it be?

Andy posted an answer many months ago. It is updated on Thursday and has input from his sales only. You will have to search through his posts, just go to the Members List and you can get all of Andy's posts.

A few dealers that I have spoken with indicate that WWI and American Rev is selling well these days. Recent DD and Civil War - not so good. The LAH is a consistent seller.

Wow that would surprise me that the recent D-Day and Civil War sets are not moving well. Those have been my favorites. LAH...always disappointing when I hear how well those sell....not a fan.

Actually, I have heard the new Civil War is extremely well - especially in the Southern United States and so are the Crusaders Range since they have been released.

The Crusaders and ACW ranges are both totally awesome and I salivate over them constantly. However, for my I'm so far into Britains, Conte, Frontline etc. on the ACW side I think K&C would kind of get lost int the mix. Which in a way would be a shame. As for the Crusaders I just can't aford to take on another new era line. Of course thats what I said about the Napoleonics and WWII and you should see the madness on that level. Even Malcom Forbes couldn't collect it all!

P.S. Around the railroad RailFans who are over the top enthuesiasts and constantly salivating over this engine or that piece of memoriblia are refered to as "Foamers"...I guess I'm a toy soldier "Foamer"?

Almost anything new will be a "top seller" when it is released. That doesn't mean much though regarding how well it sells overall.
