I have long wanted to buy this beautiful toy car. Fortunately, after 10 years it is still on sale, either because it sells well or because there are stocks and it hasn't sold well, but I like it a lot. The price is reasonable and will be added to my North African diorama, it is small, and is easy to arrange ... Incidentally it was my grandfather's first car.:)

wasnt that ed sullivans mouse?

This car was named "Topolino" because this was the italian name of Mickey mouse in Italy( and still is). As Mickey mouse was very popular in Italy in the thirties Fiat decided to give this name.

It was like the Ford T for the Italians, the first mass vehicle. Then came the 500 and it was really the first car for many families in the 50's.
