Gentle Readers,

Brian and I are friends. We lived in the same neighborhood. I did not know him at the time but he lived for a period one block away from where I grew up. He went to the same High School Where I and the rest of my siblings went. So after knowing him for a few years we discovered this. So I want the guy to succeed.

Yesterday I got a package from Brian at the Shop. Unbeknownst to me it had been there for a week. This is what it was;

I won't go into the details as of why he sent this. What I wanted to say about this one is that it was totally pristine. The box was wrapped in shrink wrap. No dings on the box. Inside the same thing. Completely unmarred. A note attached stated "A gift for Michael Steinrock" I know nobody spells my name right.:(

About the tank. It is a fantastic example of color modulation. If you look closely you will see the larger panels have multiple shades of the base color. This is as it should be. And you never see anyone doing this on their models. There is all kinds of shading. Look into the crevices and you will see dark shading in them. Also as it should be. This is a pretty darn good tank. Yeah, I can do better, but as it stands this has a prominent spot in my case. You can not beat the value of this vehicle. If I were to build this and charge someone for it It would cost them 600-700 US$. You would get it in about two months. I have charged $1500 for a 1/35 scale model painted and assembled. Plus the guy had to buy the model. That was another $150. This is what? $169? This really is a wonderful model.:salute:::salute::
