Anyone know what is the difference in the towers?

I think 24 has doorways on opposite sides of each other so are designed to go in between wall pieces and 24a is a corner piece so it's doors are on walls where they meet.

Yes, they go great!
There have been several diorama posts showing them together.

After posting I went and searched and I found the displays. They do look good together.
