Can someone tell me if they know what this figure is?
It is plastic, 54mm. I think it may be a Marx figure, but I do not know what playset it would be from, it it is Marx.

The figure is wearing high boots, and has a knife tucked into his belt in the front at the waist.

This looks like its from the Marx line of "Miners and Trappers." Obviously could be a reissue. I don't know what playsets these figures came in, I got a bag of them in the mid-1970s for Christmas. They were in butterscotch and the bag also included several of Marx's cowboy poses. Though way out of scale for the trains, they provided labor on my Lionel railroad where they worked all the livelong day.

Yes I think you are correct. It is from the "Miners and Trappers"

Thanks

Yes Marx, he is paired with another figure so that you can have him in a fistfighting set-up
