Here is a small vignette that I am fitting up to see how it plays together. After some additional fiddling it will be ready as a future vignette to put in the Springfield Mass Museum Toy Soldier exhibit next time we change it. At that point the ground work will be added.
The house is a 3 piece resin casting by La Meridiana Miniatures of Italy that I assembled and paintedd in acrylics with some artist oil weathering. The Kit is called TRADING HOUSE #AC54-32.
The figures are from the Jenkins F&IW series and are perfect for this.
The 2 trees in fall colors are from a Marx Playset I received for X-Mas over 50 years ago. I painted them in fall colors on one side and summer colors on the other. These 2 dimentional (sp) trees serve well in a vignette up against a flat background, and are still easy to find at toy shows, paint up quite quickly and for my eye look pretty good from a distance in a museum case....highly recommened.
Enjoy

Nice work, Walt,
that is a great looking house and goes very well with the Jenkins figures.
I especially like that it is only a section and allows for a nice display in a smaller space.
Thanks for posting!

This is a delightful vignette. I love the log cabin and the trees in fall colours.

It was great idea to paint the trees in fall colours on one side and summer on the other.

Kind Regards, Raymond.
