Tradition ACW (1 Viewer)

I like the Tradition glossy figures, too. I'm more into their Napoleonic range. Looks great in a curio cabinet! They so much attract your attention with that glossy color. Ted Deddens of Tedtoy makes great ACW glossies that would go well with the Tradition sets. I have some of his ACW range. I'm thinking of picking up a couple of the ACW Tradition sets... the ones having the flag bearers.

I must have about 30 of Tradition's napoleonic war sets. I agree, they make a great display. You can set up an entire British square or French column.

To me Shenandoah Miniatures ( the painted Traditionals range ) from Australia seem to be doing the best ACW figures right now. They look perfect on photo. They are also expensive:(. Well, there are not many miracles around are there?

King & Country's new ACW line is outstanding, as usual. However, I have been collecting Frontline's matte finished ACW for years and they are hard to beat. Also, Frontline is not so quick to retire their sets, so you can acquire them in a a much less urgent pace than K & C's here today, gone tomorrow sets. Take a look at their line at www.frontline-figures.com. In gloss paint, TedToy in Kentucky has one of the finest ACW lines on the market today. If you are interested in acquring the various regiments in the ACW, Edmund's has an extensive line of more than 200 sets.

Does anyone sell Shenandoah figures in the US?

I like Edmunds and have one of his two flag Irish Brigade sets.

I have also seen the Tedtoy ACW stuff and would like to get some of his sets as well.:D

I have 15 Edmund's sets, mostly CSA Regiments. Ed doesn't have a web site, but Michigan Toy Soldier Company has a great section on Edmund's with most sets listed, many with photos.
