The following photos are a shelf displaying three sets of Tradition's figures from my collection. I have been selling my Tradition Napoleonics and American Civil War sets since I now concentrate on Frontline Figures sets for those eras. The Tradition Elephant Battery is one of my favorite sets from any manufacturer. The other two sets are the Indian Army Mountain Battery and Italian Bersaglieri from the Boxer Rebellion.

Mike.

I agree they make a rather nice display. I have painted 3 sets of these over the years, this was the last one I did a few years ago.

Thanks for showing photos of your rather extensive collection.

Regards

Jeff

Is your set from unpainted castings or did you re-paint a finished set?

Those look so cool! I would really like to cast an artillery set soon. I would love to try and cast an elephant as well. Luckily the Schleich elephants seem to be about the right size:D

Great pictures !!! I love elephants battery sets but the Tradition is one I'm still missing.... Michel

That's not a bad price as it sells from Tradition for £390.00! The castings would set you back just under £150.00. I've painted these before and they make a very nice display.

Hi, welcome to the forum.

Yes the elephants are made from resin with metal trunks and tails?

I mentioned above that I have painted some of these before and I used grey car primer for the undercoat and Humbrol gloss enamels to paint the figures etc. the end result is below.

Hope this helps.
