I am fairly sure that they are not Tradition; at least they don't look like David Scheinmann's work. I wonder if they might not be Caberfeidth Miniatures from Scotland?

That could be Mike. I know I saw a picture of these one time in a collector magazine. I remember someone did Christmas scenes with soldiers decorating tree and other holiday activities. I don't know . Leadmen

I am fairly certain they are not Tradition. They are wonderful though.

Evening, all!

Did you ever figure out the origin of these figures?

I wanted to note that, judging from the shape of the figures' heads, those wearing peaked caps, that they might actually be Prins August castings that have been kit-bashed into the poses we see in the picture. I'm thinking of the toy soldier mold range that Prins August sells; the figures are basic British grenadier and and line regiment figures, which can be used to make regiments in parade dress from around 1900 up to the present.

The conductor also looks very much like the basic casting of a figure at attention; the casting has a basic square base.

The musical instruments also look like they might be from those molds. I have some people do some really nice work with the basic castings the molds produce.

Hope that the suggestion doesn't offend!

Regards,
Brad

At the Indy Show yesterday they had a set of musicians sitting with instruments made by Ducal. The poses were different but looked similar to these figures shown. Leadmen
