A few years ago I popped back to the UK for a visit - we tend to do this every other year from NZ. While in London I made an effort to go the the Tradition shop. I picked a few wonderful matte painted figures. Little did I know within a month it would be closed. A sad loss but I suppose buying trends mean that toy soldier shops are perhaps a dying breed.

I have visited K&C shop in HK and Peter Nathan's shop in Sydney and of course the small Imperial Productions shop right here in Greytown while this side of the world. Love doing it.

It's only a loss in terms of being able to go to a location and see the figures in person, but otherwise, Tradition is going strong with mail-order and online sales and sales through vendors. It made sense to eliminate the cost of a bricks-and-mortar shop.

Those are great figures you picked up! Marlborough, and a pair of Janissaries, I take it.

Prost!
