Can anyone provide the actual hieght & width of the new Figarti train set-ups...I'm looking at bridge/tunnel and would like to know if this Figarti will fit through...the bridge is classified or I should say advertised as standard gauge but works with O gauge...the bridge tunnel is 7 5/8 tall and 6" wide. Here is a picture of Hellgate...maybe this bridge is too modern to work with the recent Figarti releases but it looks cool!

That is sweet !! Can I ask where you found it?
Can I wait until I buy it:confused: No actually there are many listed on eBay titled under "hellcat bridge"...plenty to go around! The question still remains...how will it work with Figati or even K&C?

Thanks for the info. Sorry I can't help with the dimensions you are looking for.

Mark,

I believe they are listed somewhere in the Figarti threads. I recall a post by Rick or Steven giving the dimensions.

I have that Bridge. It is intended for Tin Plate trains that are more "Toy Like" . It is not very detailed. Also, it is model after a bridge in New York City, so I'm not sure it would work for a German train. This Piko Bridge is nice.

Growing up with a father who collected Lionel and American Flyer trains..trust me, you will not want this bridge for the train that figarti has put out..the bridge would take away from the beauty of the set...Yes it was designed for tin plate which is pre-war in style..This is the Bascule Bridge.

I agree...the more I studied the pictures the more I thought about the detail...though it certainly has a wow look! I called it the Hellcat but it's actual name is Hellgate. According to many train collectors it appears to be a highly respected piece. I have found two reproductions already, one being MTH and the other being T-Reprodutions and I think Lionel re-made the bridge as well? The best bridge I have owned so far was the "Bailey Bridge".

By the way I sure like these signal assortments, especially the lamp posts...

Re Dimensions.

The Loco measures 31.1 ins long x5.9ins high (From rail) and 4.3ins wide.
The Karl morser is 15.4ins long x 6.4ins high x 5.6ins wide and 29.92 ins on the rail carrier.
Hope that helps.
Regards
Clive

Is That the MTH Tinplate??...I believe it is a re-pro of the old Lionel Hellgate....goes for $500 I believe...it will likely be too small for the Figarti Trains

The Mth version was designed for 2 tracks width across. I do not know if that might raise the height at all...Michael
