I keep thinking the new K&C WWI Germans, particularly the machine gun set, would look great set in a JG Miniatures trench. Does anybody know if these trenches fit well with the K&C 1/30 scale since their scale seems to be 1/32?
Check them out, they look excellent, but are they too small?

Do you know of any other options? These wonderful figures really need an appropriate trench diorama:p.

Many thanks for any info,
Paulo

I am putting together a diorama using two of the King & Country SP26 - Mortar Pit - as my trench works - looks pretty good so far. :)

Frontline also makes a series of trenches for WW I figures.

Here is a link.

http://www.frontline-figures.com/ww1/index.html

Scroll down to the bottom of the page. There figures are also listed as 1/32 scale, but from my experience they tend to be a little larger so they may work very well with the K&C figures.

Hope this helps, Chuck

Years ago Form Tech did a WW1 trench system, almost 3 Ft. long, for about $125, unpainted.
In my mind that is the best out there, don,t know if any dealers still have it.

I think Michigan Toy Soldier still advertise it.

This is one I sculpted for John at Formtech years ago and to my knowledge it is still available. It should be fine with the K&C or Frontline figures. With a little paint and some H&A barbed wire it can make a nice display.

Hi Guys, many thanks for your info, I appreciate it.

THe formtech trench "system" is by far the best you'll get for the buck.

I think at Matt at Hobby Bunker either owns what was form tech or something like that, but I remember him saying he had them.

Ken did amazing! There's all sorts of stuff stuck in the sand - really amazing.

Meu amigo Paulo, I have some alternative for your WWI trench...:D:rolleyes:

Here is a picture of the Formtech Trench Scene, offered by Hobby Bunker, measuring 38" by 16" and offered on their website for $99.00 (painted).
Seems to be a nice piece.

Thanks guys, I made that last winter and I hope to be able to add a new one with the Germans late this year.

Konrad, thanks my friend but I think you exaggerate,,, it is just a medium size WWI Trench, around La Région de la Somme north of France….

This one is a Hobby Bunker product... there is another series that is now owned by Formtech and includes several modular sections. Once in a while I see them at MichToy.
