TRIVIA---at the end of Clint Eastwood's HIGH PLAINS DRIFTER headstone scene, the true identity of the Drifter is revealed to be the murdered Marshal Jim Duncan. As a tribute to his former directors, Eastwood had other headstones inscribed with the names of Sergio Leone (THE GOOD, THE BAD AND THE UGLY), Don Siegel (DIRTY HARRY) and Brian G. Hutton (WHERE EAGLES DARE).

The HIGH PLAINS DRIFTER scene reveals that the Drifter's name is the murdered Marshal Jim Duncan.
