"Trophy" Figures - Buyer Beware! (1 Viewer)

There are currently four separate Buy-It-Now auctions for figures that are called Trophy. There is only one problem: They are actually Prussians from the late Alan Silk's Guard Corps line. I have noticed a pattern with this seller in the past, who happens to be a well-known figure in the hobby who has written articles for TS & MF magazine, of selling single or partial sets and misrepresenting who made them. I have e-mailed him in the past and told him what he was actually selling. No response and no change in the listings! This time I was a little more direct and told him that I found it hard to believe that he thought these figures were Trophy and that he did not KNOW they were Guard Corps. Let's see what happens.

Well, since I did not mention his name or provide a link to the figures, I thought not. However, it is a moot point, all is well! He just e-mailed me and appologized for incorrectly listing them and said he would change the listings immediately.

If he correctly listed them as Guard Corps they would sell for more!
