The TSSD id showing pics of the Calvary charge sets, they look awesome, must get. Mike:)

I was just getting ready to post the above info.
They do look to be some of the best cavalry to date.
Also read that now that they have the horses done, future cavalry figures will probably be done.
Gary

Gary as the site said, the converters are going to be in heaven, I have been studying possible conversions already. The horses came out excellent, and seem to have a nice steady base. Mike:)

They look very nicely done. If you're not too historically fussy, there's no real reason why these can't be painted up as 7th Cav is there?

Simon

I see no reason why not, infact it appears some of them will fit real well into that category.

Here are some pics.

Here are some TSSD Calvary Converts I did this weekend. They came out a little blurry, but you can make them out.

Nice work Mike!!! Did you get the figures from the hobby bunker??? And did he have a lot in stock if so? I,ve got to pick up a couple of bags of those, they look nice.

I realy like the new smaller brick patern in the photos, That would work great for some hougomont buildings. I,m sure you could sell a few cow sheds and barns to add onto britains new north gate.
If you could get your hands on one and make an add on piece to fit onto the roof section of the newer set released this year and make a roof for the thing also.
The cow shed to the right of the fence would be great also.

Sheez Mike,

Did you start cutting those up on the way back from the Bunker? Amazing turnaround and great finished products. Inspiring as always. I just need to wait for these to land this side of the Pond.

Yes Tim, Saturday I picked up three sets, They are better in person. Simon, they will make great 7th Calvary, hope they get to you soon. I can't wait to see what you guys put together. Tim I'll have some brick walls for you at the show, no charge, but they will be pink. Maybe you can give me some ideas of what to make with them. Mike:)

Once painted, will the new TSSD cavalry figures go well with Airfix, Imex & Italeri Civil War cavalry sets?

The reason I ask is that some of the previous TSSD figures seem more like 60mm?

Yes the Cavalry is big for 54mm. Here's a comparison of brands. I usually "play" or display with them separately, or make separate units of each brand.

Wow. Thank you for posting those pics. That was a massive help.

I bought the Cavalry set at the show last weekend. I have already started painting. Wait til you see the horses.

What kind of glue do you use for the conversions Mike?

BTW the TSSD horses are some of the best. A lot better than even some metal figures.
