I just finished this annoying book. According to Tucker it all ended something like this...

62 Men escaped from the Palisade Sally Port but were killed before reaching the road.



Another group tried the Lunette Gate.



I don't think there will be a MARX playset.

George, go to the 'Books, Magazines, Articles' section and then to the 'What are the forum members reading' thread, go to the advanced search and enter Alamo. You will get several answers to the what's annoying question. We had a bit of a discussion about this book. Worth reading if you don't let your blood pressure get out of control. The book is a bit controversial.:rolleyes2: -- Al

annoying! I know that the only accurate term that covered the all the defenders was "Anglo-Celt" but boy that was annoying to read it over and over.

They weren't exactly Texians yet and not all Americans.

There was also some repetative and confusing paragraphs.
Tucker did include something like 30 pages of notes to back up his book.
I'm on vacation in NY right now so I don't have the book handy.
