Two books by Roy Dutton "Forgotten Heroes, The Charge of the Light Brigade" and"Forgotten Heroes, The Charge of the Heavy Brigade".
In the first Dutton continues the research started by Lummis and Wynn in "Honour the Light Brigade" adding considerable detail to that classic work. With the Heavy Brigade he follows the same format whilst venturing into hitherto unexplored territory. Each man on the muster rolls are listed with details of medals, and, where possible, biographical information. This work will be the base line for future research and both books will be of great interest to any devotee of the Crimean War.
