What two countries have declared independence from Great Britain? This is a carefully worded question, so be mindful with answers. Try to answer without using the inter-webs, though you may not readily find the answer there, either.

Declared independence legislatively or through revolution?

I don't want to give the answer away, but there are two separate issues here. First, it is likely that every legitimate declaration of independence is through some sort of legislative or collective process on the part of the seceding country. Second, whether or not it took violence to achieve that independence is not actually part of the question (that was a hint). What I think you may be hinting at when you say "legislative" is "mutually legislative," as in "both countries negotiated independence together." This is not a "declaration of independence" in a traditional definition: it is known as "bilateral independence." I cannot go further without giving it away ^&cool:wink2:
