Our TYW/Renaissance Polish Winged Hussars have proven extremely popular with collectors, particularly the standard bearer figures. We have created one final standard bearer for the Winged Hussars, set TYW005c Prince Alexander Sobieski's Battle Flag at Vienna 1683. Alexander Sobieski was only six years old when the Battle of Vienna took place in 1863, however, his father King Jan III Sobieski was the King of Poland and Grand Duke of Lithuania and commanded the Polish Winged Hussars at Vienna in 1863. At the battle, he led a massive cavalry charge against the Ottoman Turks breaking their battle line and scattering their forces. It was the greatest success of his military career and his son Alexander's Company, with their banner streaming, took part in this massive charge. Please note that this set is a Special Collectors Set limited to only 100 pieces and is already in stock.

How nice to see, and a must have but could I just buy the Standard since I already have the first two :wink2:

I know that makes no business sense but it would be cool to just be able to swap out standards ^&grin.

The colors on him and the Horse are different which makes it a little easier {sm4}. I want one, oh also that should read 1683 instead of 1863. Typos are for me no big deal but some get off on it.

Great pick up mine just shipped this week, Looks to be out of stock already on the First Legion site. Really happy to see so many collectors enjoying this line the better they sell hopefully the more they will add down the road.

I've been trying to pick one up here and there and hope to have them all before they are gone, but if not it will be my fault they have been in stock a bit. Its just hard to buy them all at once {sm2}

I just checked inventory at FL and there are quite a few kettle drummers left.

However, there is only one 005a left so if you’re sitting on the fence, don’t delay and jump off.

That's weird. When I checked it last week, there were only 8 left. This prompted me to pick up one with the new detachable wing.

You may have been right. My recollection is that the drummer is a fairly recent release so perhaps they added some into inventory.

Got mine delivered at work in New Zealand today. Just opened it this evening. What a great figure. I have 7 of the 9 figures that have been produced so far. It sounds as if I should pick up the other 2 fairly sharpish. Also got John Jenkins Aztec figure and K&C's WW2 US marines. All great figures but TYW005c is the standout in my view.
