Hi TG'ers!
We have arrived safe and sound in the UK. Been here around 7 weeks. First arrivals from TG arrived in Cardiff on Friday. Sorry not great photos as not set up for this yet. But I will get there.
Ironically never had a breakage from TG's excellent shipping while in New Zealand or Tasmania. But my Matilda tank arrived with a broken gun and no figures in the box (which itself was pretty beat up). I am sure TG will rectify. Maybe its the UK curriers!
But apart from that all the figures are really impressive and the elephant is peachy (I am making mine Macedonian to go with previewed JJD Macedonian releases). The slave market podium is a great dio piece and will go well in any ancient setting. Indochina is expanding nicely as is Korea. The mounted German warrior is a great figure that looks good on its own or in combination with the other Tuetoburg range figures. Mounted WW2 German cavalry will go great with the earlier releases I bought probably around a decade or so ago. And a wonderful late WW2 German plane as a competition prize was a real bonus. I really must get back into buying some of TG fantastic planes again.
A large JJD parcel including Longboat is on the way and the Tassie part of the collection is customs cleared and should land in port this week. So might have them by the end of August. Just the small matter of the 12,000 figures in NZ now!
