Dangerous times we live in now, making enemies to push sales targets, while allowing the real barbarians to enter the city and start destroying from within, without a Trojan Horse being needed, while many people, especially the woke, carry on sleeping !

There is no leadership in the US. They have spent considerable time in the middle east trying to get a ceasefire. No such effort has been made in the more dangerous conflict in Ukraine which is now escalating out of control. Kamala is on vacation in Hawaii. Biden is rarely seen and when he does appear it is apparent that he is in a cognitive fugue-like state. The next administration will have its hands full avoiding WWIII and the mess left by the outgoing politicians. I feel sorry for the people of Ukraine who are the victims of Russian aggression, American incompetence and endless warmongering, and European indifference.

I could not agree more, this post perfectly sums up the current state of US foreign policy and its impact on Ukraine.

Looking away from Ukraine for the moment, and long before it was even certain Trump would be even running again, it'd was being talked about elsewhere that China would for the first time be overwhelmingly capable of taking Taiwan in early 2025 and all these previous incursions into their airspace had just been training maneuvers testing for weaknesses, now with China's economy not doing so well and the prospect of high tariffs being imposed again.
Bearing in mind that China has always laid claim to it as their own, it certainly is an area that an open eye needs to be kept on as there's nothing like a war for those involved for taking peoples minds off other things.

What's behind the bamboo curtain and what their intentions are over the next few years is anybody's guess and Trump bring in the Whitehouse will hopefully be a deterrent.
Though China is playing a long game, though traits of gambling and keeping face do play into things, such as the belt and road policy not only in Asia, but Africa too. Anyone investing in Africa Has got to be a gambler, as time and time again investors in infrastructure there loose out.

The Dirty Harry (Callahan) and Conan films were favorites of Dad's States Attorney friends when he just finishes Law School. They called themselves the Fascist Film Festival Fans. Just sayin'

Though we disagree on who should run our Country, we have much in common.
