Those are IMEX. They came in a somewhat hard plastic. Interesting thing was all IMEX civil war were put out in 1/72 scale, then 1/32. The last set in 1/72 was "Confederate Infantry". But for some reason the 1/72 scale set did NOT get put out in 1/32. The poses were modified, e.g. the officer drawing his sword from scabbard was not the same sculpt in 1/32 as he was in 1/72. Almost as if there was a problem with the mold on that particular set.

Thanks for the info. I've been hunting around to see if these are still for sale anywhere and can't find a set. I'm going to sell these hopefully. I was not happy with the sculpts.

Yeah. those are...………….well...………….they're.....not very good.

As in horrible.

IMO, the best Confederates ever made are the Marx ones, several iconic poses; standing firing, kneeling firing, shot bare headed dropping pistol with blanket roll, advancing with flag, advancing with rifle across chest, running with slouch hat and blanket roll.

Tremendous figures; kepis, slouch hats, blanket rolls, socks tucked into pant legs, they have truly stood the test of time and it's amazing considering they are over 50 years old.

I've always wondered about the officer with sword pose shown behind the flag barer pose. His hat always has a divot in the front middle. Is that just a always present mold flaw or was it by design?

I had the exact same question. Such a strange figure. The shouting, pointing fig seems like a rip off of the earlier Accurate/Imex Union soldier.
