I think this film will be great for our hobby. Hopefully plastic in particular!

What suggestions are there for sets/vehicles to bring the movie 'alive'? What would work great that's already out there?

For me, the BMC Sherman is suitable and affordable. I'd love to see a US halftrack that matches it, along the lines of the Airfix Hanomag ideally.

Unfortunately the toy makers will ignore this movie. If someone does do it the figures will be 3.75 inches which seems like the standard size they all use nowadays. If they do vehicles they will be way to big for 1/32.

Agreed, there's little chance of official stuff and it'd likely be unsuitable for most of us. (On which, I got a heap of the excellent 1/32 ish Lord of the Rings figures. I was all set to buy a heap more of The Hobbit ones but as you say - they came out as 3 3/4 action figures which was no use to me). My thoughts were more in the realms of what could an existing manufacturer of basic plastics bring out that might appeal.

A six or better, eight wheeled German armoured car would be nice! Plus some motorbikes with sidecars....
